Helen Bryan

Helen Bryan is a successful author of fiction, well-known for her evocative storytelling and richly drawn characters. Born in Virginia, she grew up in Tennessee and later graduated from Barnard College. After many years of living in London, she qualified and practiced as a barrister in England before deciding to focus on her writing career.

Bryan's first novel, "War Brides," was published in 2007 and quickly became a bestseller.
