Lucy Arlington is the pen name of the writing team consisting of Ellery Adams and Sylvia May, who created the Novel Idea Mystery series. The series was a result of their collaboration, which they undertook as friends sharing a common interest and writing vision.
Ellery Adams and Sylvia May are both accomplished authors in their own right. Adams is a New York Times bestselling author, known for her Books by the Bay Mysteries, the Charmed Pie Shoppe Mysteries, and the Book Retreat Mysteries. She has received considerable acclaim for her work, including an Agatha Award nomination for Best First Novel. Sylvia May's first novel, The Unraveling of Abby Settel, received an Honorable Mention in the 2011 Reader Views Literary Awards. Her second novel is titled Breathing Space. After writing the first three books in the series, Adams and May decided to pass the baton to another author, Susan Furlong.
