A.E. Warren is a bestselling science fiction author, best known for her debut work of fiction, "Subject Twenty-One". Warren's passion for writing began as a form of escapism from her previous career as a lawyer. After spending eight years in a small cubicle filled with files, she turned to writing in the evenings and early mornings.
Warren's journey into publishing began when she self-published her first novels, "The Museum of Second Chances" and "The Base of Reflections," in her spare time. Her work quickly caught the attention of Del Rey UK, the science fiction/fantasy imprint of Penguin Random House, who signed her for four books in the Tomorrow's Ancestors series, starting with "Subject Twenty-One".
In addition to being a writer, Warren is an avid reader, occasional gamer, and fair-weather runner. She currently resides in the UK with her husband, daughter, and hopes to one day add a wise border terrier named Austen to their family. Warren's dedication to her craft and love for science fiction has made her a rising star in the genre.
