Abbie Greaves

Abbie Greaves is a talented English author, best known for her women's fiction novels. Born in Oxford, Greaves discovered her passion for storytelling at a young age, crafting tales for her class' "Weekend Review". This love for creating narratives stayed with her, leading her to study English Literature at the University of Cambridge.

After graduation, Greaves began her career in publishing, which lasted for three years. It was during this time that she wrote her debut novel, "The Silent Treatment," a poignant exploration of love, loss, and lies. The idea for the novel was sparked after Greaves read an article about a child in Japan who had never witnessed his parents speaking to each other. Following its publication in 2020, "The Silent Treatment" became a massive success in the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States, leading to the acquisition of rights in several other countries.

Greaves' second novel, "The Ends of the Earth" (UK) or "Anywhere for You" (US), was published in 2021. The rights for this novel were acquired by Emily Griffin of Deputy Publisher for the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth, and by William Morrow at auction for the United States. In her spare time, Greaves enjoys modern calligraphy, traveling for inspiration, and reading. She maintains an active presence on Instagram, where she can be found at @abbiegreavesauthor.
