Abigail Wilson

Abigail Wilson is a renowned author, particularly known for her romance fiction set in the Regency era. Her interest in this time period was sparked at a young age, finding inspiration in the adventure, danger, and romance of pastoral England. This fascination led her to the works of authors like Georgette Heyer and Jane Austen, further fueling her passion for the genre.

In addition to her love for Regency-era romance, Wilson has also been an avid reader of gothic fiction from the 1960s and 1970s. These combined influences have shaped her unique writing style, which combines historical mystery with a touch of romance. Wilson's dedication to her craft has earned her recognition in the industry, including winning WisRWA’s Fab Five contest in 2017 and ACFW’s First Impressions contest in 2016. She was also a finalist in the Daphne du Maurier Award for Excellence in Mystery/Suspense in 2017.

Aside from her writing, Wilson is a Registered Nurse and a mother of two. She enjoys spending her free time hiking the National Parks, attending her children's activities, and curling up with a good book. Wilson is a cum laude graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and currently resides in Dripping Springs, Texas, with her husband and children.
