Adina Senft is an American author of fiction, who also writes under the pen names Shelley Adina and Charlotte Henry. She has written a total of 42 novels, which have been published by Harlequin, Warner, Hachette, and Moonshell Books, Inc., her own independent press. Her works span various genres, including Amish women's fiction, steampunk, contemporary romance, and classic Regency romance.
Adina's background in a plain house church has influenced her writing, with her Amish women's fiction novels being particularly noteworthy. She has received recognition for her work, including being a winner of RWA's RITA Award for Best Inspirational Novel in 2005, a finalist for that award in 2006, and a Christy Award finalist in 2009. In addition to her writing, Adina is a popular speaker and convention panelist, and has been a guest on many podcasts, including Worldshapers and Realm of Books.
Adina is currently pursuing a PhD in Creative Writing at Lancaster University in the UK. When she's not writing or studying, Adina enjoys a variety of hobbies, including quilting, sewing historical costumes, and tending to her garden with her flock of rescued chickens. She has also been featured in the 2016 documentary film Love Between the Covers.
