Adrienne Chinn is a renowned author, teacher, speaker, interior designer, photographer, traveler, haiku poet, flea market hunter, and chocolate enthusiast. She was born in the old paper-making town of Grand Falls, Newfoundland, and spent her childhood in Quebec and Montreal. After a career as a journalist, Chinn moved to London, England, where she worked as a TV and film researcher before becoming an interior designer, lecturer, and writer.
Chinn's writing career took off with the publication of her debut novel, The Lost Letter, in 2019. This was followed by the international bestseller, The English Wife, in 2020, which is a timeslip story set in World War II England and contemporary Newfoundland. Her third novel, Love in a Time of War, is the first in a series of four books in The Three Fry Sisters series and was published in 2022. The second book in the series, The Paris Sister, was published in 2023, and the third book, In the Shadow of War, was published in March 2024. Chinn is currently working on a new historical timeslip novel, set to be published in 2025.
Aside from her writing, Chinn is also an accomplished interior designer and lecturer. She enjoys spending her time rummaging through flea markets and haggling in the Marrakech souk. Her diverse background and experiences have no doubt contributed to her success as an author, and her works continue to captivate readers around the world.
