Aimée Thurlo

Aimee Thurlo was a renowned American author, born in Havana, Cuba. She spent her forty-year career in the United States, particularly in New Mexico, where she wrote numerous mystery and romantic suspense novels. Thurlo often collaborated with her husband, David Thurlo, with whom she shared a life of over thirty years.

Thurlo's writing often incorporated Native American themes, reflecting her husband's upbringing on the Navajo Indian Nation. Together, they created several series, including Ella Clah, Sister Agatha, and Lee Nez, all set in New Mexico. In addition to her collaborative works, Aimee penned individual series, such as Brotherhood of Warriors and Copper Canyon, which mainly featured romance.

Aimee Thurlo was not only admired by her contemporaries but also widely read and appreciated by her expanding audience.
