C. Alexander London, also known as Alex, is a author who writes books for various age groups, including kids, teens, and adults. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland and later moved to New York, where he attended Columbia University and earned a philosophy degree. Afterward, he received a Masters Degree in Library Science from Pratt Institute.
London has an extensive background in journalism, having reported from conflict zones and refugee camps around the world. His experiences as a journalist have taken him to many dangerous places, including witnessing an erupting volcano in the Democratic Republic of Congo, surviving a hurricane in the Caribbean, and enduring four civil wars. However, he has a greater appreciation for danger and intrigue when it happens to someone else and prefers to curl up on the couch and read a book or watch television.
In addition to being a novelist, London is a licensed librarian and used to know the Dewey Decimal System from memory. He has a Master SCUBA diving license, although he hasn't been diving in a long time. London once won a 12-gauge skeet-shooting tournament in his age group and has watched television in 23 countries. He currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
