Alex Robins is a fantasy novel author, best known for his War of the Twelve series and the Ruined Gods series. He was born in Norwich, England, and moved to Nantes, France when he was 12. Growing up, he was an avid reader of various genres, including fantasy, science fiction, mysteries, thrillers, and historical fiction. His love for reading began in the Norwich School Library, where he discovered classic fantasy series such as The Lord of the Rings, The Dragonlance Chronicles, and The Belgariad series.
After moving to France, Alex's taste in books expanded, but he always returned to his favorite fantasy authors for an escape. He pursued degrees in agronomy, project management, and computer sciences, and even founded his own company dedicated to online voting. It was only after meeting his wife and settling down in the Loire Valley that Alex decided to try his hand at writing a fantasy book. The Broken Heart of Arelium is his first novel and the beginning of the War of the Twelve series. Currently, Alex resides in the Loire Valley with his wife and two children, where he spends his time reading, cycling, and playing the guitar poorly.
