Alexandra Sokoloff is an American published author and screenwriter. She was born in California and attended U.C. Berkeley, where she majored in theater and minored in a variety of subjects. Some of her notable works include the Huntress/FBI Thrillers series, which includes Huntress Moon, Blood Moon, Cold Moon, Bitter Moon, and Hunger Moon; and the supernatural thrillers The Harrowing, The Price, The Unseen, Book of Shadows, and The Space Between. She has also written paranormal romance novels, such as The Shifters and Keeper of the Shadows.
In addition to her work as a novelist, Sokoloff has also written non-fiction books on screenwriting, including Screenwriting Tricks for Authors and Writing Love, based on her internationally acclaimed workshops and blog. She has served on the Board of Directors of the WGA West and the Board of the Mystery Writers of America.
Sokoloff is also an accomplished dancer and performs with The Slice Girls and Heather Graham's all-author Slush Pile Players.
