Ali Brandon

Ali Brandon is the pen name of Diane A.S. Stuckart, an American author who is best known for her cozy mystery novels. She has a diverse writing portfolio, having also published historical romance novels under the name Alexa Smart and historical mysteries under her real name. Brandon was born in Lubbock, Texas, and grew up in Dallas. She also spent some time in Oklahoma City. Her journalism degree from the University of Oklahoma has been instrumental in her writing career. Currently, she resides in South Florida.

Brandon began her writing career with the release of several critically acclaimed historical romances under the names Alexa Smart and Anna Gerard. She later ventured into the mystery genre, creating a limited series that featured Leonardo Da Vinci as a 15th-century sleuth. The series was well-received, with the third book, "A Bolt from the Blue," published in January 2010. Under her real name, Diane A.S. Stuckart, she has published several mystery novels, including the Black Cat Bookshop Mystery series, the Leonardo da Vinci mysteries, and the Tarot Cats Mystery series. She has also authored the Georgia B&B Mystery series under the name Anna Gerard.
