Before becoming a writer, Alli spent over two decades working in education in San Francisco and Seattle. She began her career in a crowded public high school, later transitioning to a prestigious private school. Through her various roles as a teacher, curriculum leader, coach, college counselor, and assistant head, Alli demonstrated her versatility and dedication. She also co-founded a private school and served as a pastor, mayor, and de facto parent therapist, further showcasing her leadership and interpersonal skills.
Alli's educational background includes a degree from Cornell University and a graduate degree from Stanford University. She has a deep love for literature and storytelling, often found with her nose buried in a book or watching movies.
