Allie Reynolds

Allie Reynolds is a thriller, romance, and suspense fiction author, best known for her debut novel "Shiver." She was born and raised in Lincoln, England, before moving to Australia in 2004. Reynolds' debut thriller, "Shiver," has been a global success, selling in 24 territories and set to be translated into 23 languages. The TV option for "Shiver" has been sold to Firebird Pictures.

Many years ago, Reynolds competed in snowboard halfpipe and spent five winters in the mountains of France, Switzerland, Austria, and Canada. These days, she has shifted her focus to surfing, finding that water is less painful than ice when one falls on it. Reynolds' love for reading began at a young age, with her first job being a Saturday job in a bookstore at the age of 14. She has since enjoyed reading various genres, but her preference these days is for thrillers, especially psychological thrillers with unique settings. She also enjoys romance, crime, sports fiction, high-concept stories with interesting premises, and non-fiction, including sports biographies and self-help books.

Reynolds' second thriller, "The Bay" in the UK and ANZ and "The Swell" in North America, was published in June 2022. She currently lives near the beach with her two young boys and taught English for many years before becoming a full-time writer in 2018. Reynolds is an active user of social media and can be found on Twitter and Instagram.
