Alyssa Palombo

Alyssa Palombo is a historical fiction author who hails from Buffalo, New York. She is best known for her debut novel, "The Violinist of Venice," and has since written several other successful historical novels, including "The Spellbook of Katrina Van Tassel," "The Most Beautiful Woman in Florence," and "The Borgia Confessions." Palombo's love for history and music is evident in her writing, as she often incorporates these elements into her novels.

Palombo is a classically trained mezzo-soprano and also plays the piano, which gives her a unique perspective when writing about music in her novels. She graduated from Canisius College in New York, where she majored in creative writing and English and minored in music. When she's not writing, Palombo enjoys reading, traveling, attending concerts, and planning for the next holiday. She is a self-proclaimed metalhead and French fry connoisseur, and loves collecting hoodies, sunglasses, and pajamas.

In addition to her love of music, Palombo is also passionate about reading and often shares her thoughts and recommendations on her social media channels. She has a large following on Twitter and Instagram, where she goes by the handle @AlyssInWnderlnd. Palombo is currently working on her next novel, "The Assassin of Venice," which is set to be released in 2024 by Crooked Lane Books. She is represented by Sam Farkas of Jill Grinberg Literary Management.
