Amelia Grey, also known as Gloria Dale Skinner, is a successful and prolific author of romance novels. She was born and raised in a small town in the Florida Panhandle. Grey has lived in several different states throughout her life, including Connecticut, Alabama, New Hampshire, and Florida, but she currently resides in the sunshine state. She is happily married to her high school sweetheart and has been for over twenty-five years.
Grey has won numerous awards for her work, including the coveted Romantic Times award for Love and Laughter, the prestigious Maggie award for best historical, and Affaire de Coeur's best American historical award. She has also been a finalist for the Golden Heart and the Holt Medallion awards, which are given by Romance Writers of America, as well as many other awards. Her books have been sold to many countries in Europe, Russia, and China.
In addition to being a successful author, Grey is also an avid reader of romance novels. She read her first romance book when she was thirteen and has been devoted to the genre ever since. Grey has been married to her high school sweetheart for over thirty-five years and they live together on the beautiful gulf coast of Northwest Florida.
