Amos Oz is a highly acclaimed literary fiction author from Israel, who has been writing since 1966. Born in Jerusalem in 1939, Oz has established himself as one of the most prominent and famous authors in the country. He has written fourteen novels and collections of short fiction, as well as numerous works of nonfiction.
