Amparo Ortiz

Amparo Ortiz is a talented author, born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and currently residing on the island's northeastern coast. She is best known for her young adult and children's fiction, with her debut novel "Blazewrath Games" earning her considerable recognition. Ortiz is also a skilled short fiction author, with her short story comic "What Remains in The Dark" featured in the Eisner Award-winning anthology "Puerto Rico Strong." In addition, she has written a middle-grade graphic novel, "Saving Chupie," published by HarperCollins.

Ortiz holds a bachelor's and master's degree in Psychology from the Piedras Campus of UPR Rio.
