Under her leadership, the platform expanded its coverage to include feminist, political, and LGBTQ topics, doubling its traffic to over 34 million monthly unique visitors. Odell was named to Forbes' "30 Under 30" list in media and recognized by Adweek as one of 15 innovators reshaping the magazine industry.
Before joining Cosmopolitan.com, Odell launched BuzzFeed Fashion and BuzzFeed Shift during her tenure as an editor at BuzzFeed. She began her career at "New York" magazine, where she founded the fashion blog "The Cut". Her writing has appeared in the "New York Times", "Time", and "Bloomberg Businessweek", among other publications. A graduate of New York University, Odell now lives in Westchester with her family.
