Andrew Cunningham

Andrew Cunningham is a prolific author, having written sixteen novels across various genres, including mystery, thriller, science fiction, and time travel. He also writes mystery novels under the pen name A.R. Cunningham. Cunningham was born in England but has spent much of his adult life in the United States, living in Cape Cod for a quarter of a century before moving to Florida. Prior to becoming a full-time writer, Cunningham worked as an interpreter for the deaf, an independent bookseller, and a freelance copy editor.

Cunningham is a 4th-degree Master Blackbelt in Tang Soo Do, a martial art that he had to give up due to his body giving out. He is a married man with two adult children and several grandchildren. When he is not writing, Cunningham enjoys traveling across the United States and the Americas with his wife, often taking cruises to the Caribbean. He has been an active writer for the past 18 years and has published several bestselling novels, including "Wisdom Spring," "Deadly Shore," and "Eden Rising."

Cunningham's "Eden Rising" series was his debut into the world of novel writing, with the first book published in 2013. Although he was an inexperienced writer at the time, the book sold well, and he gained confidence to write more. Since then, he has written over eight titles in the "Eden Rising" and "Lies Mystery" series. As A.R. Cunningham, he has written a series of five humorous children's mysteries in the Arthur MacArthur series for middle-readers.
