Andrew Peterson

Andrew Peterson is an American author and musician who is known for his Christian-themed works. He writes children's fantasy novels and is the author of the Wingfeather Saga. Peterson is also a songwriter and musician, and he runs the Rabbit Room, a community of songwriters, authors, and artists who share a strong faith and enjoy storytelling. He is married to Jamie and they have three children together. They reside just outside of Nashville, Tennessee.

In addition to his work as a novelist and musician, Peterson is also the founder of the Rabbit Room, a community that brings together songwriters, authors, and artists who are interested in storytelling, faith, and fellowship. The Rabbit Room hosts a yearly conference called Hutchmoot. Peterson is also one of the executive producers of The Wingfeather Saga Animated Series, which is based on his fantasy series for young readers. He has written two memoirs: Adorning the Dark, and The God of the Garden.

Peterson's love for Christ and his Kingdom, his belief in the power of story and art, and his need for family and community are the common threads that run through all of his work. He is dedicated to using his gifts to tell the truth as beautifully as he can. He has been married to Jamie for over twenty-eight years and they have three grown children, two daughters-in-law, and one granddaughter. They live together in a place they call the Warren, just south of Nashville.
