Andrew Turpin is a skilled author, best known for his thrilling series featuring Joe Johnson and Jayne Robinson. Turpin, who has always had a love for writing and a passion for reading thrillers, has successfully combined these interests to create captivating stories.
Prior to becoming an author, Turpin worked as a journalist and later as a business and financial journalist. He also spent time as a corporate and financial communications adviser for several large energy companies. These experiences, along with his love for history, current affairs, and travel, have greatly influenced his writing.
Turpin's first book in the Joe Johnson thriller series, "The Last Nazi," was published in 2017 and quickly became a success. The series follows Johnson, an ex-CIA officer and former U.S. Nazi hunter, as he investigates unsolved war crimes around the world. The series has grown to include seven books, including "The Old Bridge," "Bandit Country," "Stalin's Final Sting," "The Afghan," "The Nazi's Son," and "The Black Sea." In addition to the Joe Johnson series, Turpin has also launched a second series featuring Jayne Robinson, a former British Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) operative. The first book in this series is "The Kremlin’s Vote."
Turpin, who studied history at Loughborough University, originally hails from Grantham, Lincolnshire. He currently resides in St. Albans in Hertfordshire, U.K with his family.
