Angie Daniels is a successful author of paranormal romance, urban fiction, and general romance novels. She was raised in the Southside of Chicago, Illinois, and from a young age, she spent her nights writing soap opera scripts with her sister before falling asleep. Her dream of becoming a published author seemed like an unreachable one during her youth, but Daniels would eventually make this dream a reality.
In 1999, Daniels decided to take a break from her career and dedicate a year to writing her first book, Intimate Intentions. This romance novel quickly grew into a 542-page romantic suspense story, which was eventually published by Genesis Press in 2001. Daniels' success continued when she signed with BET Arabesque in 2003 and Kensington's Dafina imprint in 2004. She added even more publishing credits to her name in 2006 when she began working with Parker Publishing, Aphrodisia, and Harlequin Kimani Romance. Daniels has now published over twenty novels, with her twentieth book released in 2010.
Daniels has gained a large and dedicated audience throughout her career, and she has been recognized with several awards for her work. In 2004, she won a Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice Award for her novel When it Rains, and she received an Emma Award for Favorite Erotic Romance for A Delight Before Christmas. With over 40 novels published and many more to come, Daniels has established herself as a prominent and prolific author in her genre. She currently resides in Missouri.
