Ann Whitford Paul is a celebrated American author, well-known for her children's books. She has published over twenty-five award-winning picture books, which include both fiction and nonfiction, as well as poetry and early readers. Her love for storytelling was ignited by years of bedtime reading to her four children, and currently, she finds inspiration in her seven grandchildren.
Ann is an alumna of the University of Wisconsin and Columbia University School of Social Work. In addition to her writing, she has taught picture book writing for ten years through UCLA Extension and continues to enjoy sharing her knowledge about the craft. Ann's creativity extends beyond writing, as she finds joy in observing her cat's purrs, spiders spinning webs, and snails' trails.
Her work includes popular titles like 'TWAS THE LATE NIGHT OF CHRISTMAS, and she has authored a book for adults about writing picture books. Ann's website, annwhitfordpaul.net, offers more information about her and provides access to writing tips, classroom activities, and a way to contact her directly.
