Anna Belfrage is a successful author of historical fiction, known for her captivating storytelling and richly detailed historical settings. Raised abroad, she was exposed to a mix of Latin American, English, and Swedish cultures, which has greatly influenced her writing. Growing up, she developed a love for historical novels and became fluent in several languages.
Belfrage's career trajectory took a different turn when she pursued a degree in Business and Finance, but her passion for history and writing never waned. In between raising four children and juggling a demanding career, she would find time to write and read historical fiction and non-fiction. Eventually, she was able to focus more on her writing, creating the acclaimed time-traveling series The Graham Saga, the medieval series The King's Greatest Enemy, and the contemporary romantic suspense trilogy The Wanderer. Her books have been well-received, earning several awards such as the IndieBRAG Medallion, Historical Novel Society Editor's Choices, Reader's Favorite medals, and Coffee Pot Book Club awards.
