Anne Youngson

Anne Youngson is an English author who made her debut in 2018 with the novel "Meet Me at the Museum." Before turning to writing, Youngson had a successful and long career in the motor industry after finishing an English degree from Birmingham. She worked in various senior management positions, including Chief Engineer, Defender replacement, and Managing Director of the Special Vehicle Operations for Land Rover.

Youngson's passion for writing only emerged later in her life. After many years of working in the car industry, she decided to pursue a creative career as a writer. In addition to her writing, Youngson has also been an active supporter of various charities in governance roles. She has been the Chair of the Writers in Prison Network, an organization that provided residencies in prisons for writers. Youngson lives in Oxfordshire and is married with two children and three grandchildren. "Meet Me at the Museum" was her debut novel and was shortlisted for the Costa Best First Novel Award. The book is now published around the world.
