Annie Proulx

Edna Annie Proulx is an accomplished American author and journalist, born in 1935. She has made significant contributions to the literary world with her novels, short stories, and non-fiction works. Born and raised in the United States, Proulx attended Deering High School in Portland, Maine, before moving on to Colby College briefly. She later completed her B.A. in History from the University of Vermont and earned her M.A. from Sir George Williams University (now Concordia University) in Montreal. Proulx has three sons and a daughter, and her life experiences have greatly influenced her writing, providing rich and diverse perspectives.

Throughout her career, Proulx has written under various names, including Annie Proulx, E. Annie Proulx, and E.A. Proulx.
