Archer Mayor is an accomplished American author, renowned for his series of detective fiction and mystery novels. Mayor was born in the United States but spent parts of his childhood in Canada and France, contributing to his proficiency in two languages. His professional journey is varied and extensive, having worked as a journalist, researcher, photographer, and editor before embarking on his fiction writing career.
