Ashton Lee

Ashton Lee is a bestselling American author, best known for his work on the A Cherry Cola Book Club series. He was born in Natchez, Mississippi, where he was surrounded by a large, extended Southern family that provided him with a wealth of inspiration for his fiction. Lee's father was also an author, who wrote under the pseudonym R. Keene Lee after the Second World War. He was a writer and editor in New York, working in the genre that is now known as pulp fiction. As a result, Lee was exposed to the world of reading and writing from a young age, and he inherited a love of literature from his father.

While attending the University of the South, affectionately known as Sewanee, Lee studied English and became the editor of the local publication, the Sewanee Review. He was also a member of the Southern Agrarians, a group of American literary critics and writers who promoted the cultural values of the American South. During his time at the university, Lee studied Creative Writing under Andrew Lytle, who was the editor of the Sewanee Review and a member of the Southern Agrarians in the 1920s.

Lee now lives in Oxford, Mississippi, where he enjoys the benefits of a university town that has been home to many famous writers. Throughout his career, Lee has continued to draw inspiration from his Southern roots, creating fiction that is both engaging and insightful. His work on the A Cherry Cola Book Club series has been particularly successful, demonstrating his ability to craft compelling characters and intricate plots that keep readers engaged until the very end.
