Asia Mackay

Asia Mackay is a mystery thriller novelist from London, best known for her "Alexis Tyler" series. She grew academically from studying Anthropology at Durham University and began a career in television. Mackay's time in television was spent in Shanghai, where she presented and produced lifestyle programs. Upon returning to London, she worked as a Project Manager for Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman's round-the-world motorbike documentaries. It was during her maternity leave that she began writing her first novel, "Killing It," which she completed with the aid of a Faber Academy course.

In her personal life, Mackay is a London resident, where she lives with her husband, four young children, and two dogs. "Killing It" was her debut novel, and it was the Runner Up in Richard and Judy's Search for a Bestseller competition in 2017. Her second book, "The Nursery," is now available. Despite her busy life, Mackay remains active on social media, although she admits to being "rubbish" on Twitter and Instagram, mostly lurking and rarely posting.
