Born and raised in Colorado, B.N. Rundell comes from a family of ranchers and cowboys. He is the youngest of seven sons, who learned the values of hard work and perseverance from an early age. Growing up, Rundell was juggling bull riding, skiing, and high school, and after graduation, he joined the Army Paratroopers. After his service, he finished his college education in Springfield, MO, and together with his wife and growing family, entered the ministry as a Baptist preacher.
Rundell and his wife, Dawn, raised four girls who have now made them proud grandparents. After many years of success in the ministry and as an educator, he retired and followed in the footsteps of his entrepreneurial father, starting a successful insurance agency, which is now in the hands of his trusted nephew. Rundell has also been a successful audiobook narrator and has recorded many books for several award-winning authors.
Now, finally realizing his life-long dream, Rundell has turned his efforts to writing a variety of books, from children’s picture books and young adult adventure books to the historical fiction and western genres which are his first love. In his first year of writing, he wrote two number one bestsellers, "Star Dancer" and "To Keep a Promise," and continues to add to the Buckskin Chronicles series, all of which have reached the top 10 in bestsellers rank. His exciting stories are set in the mid-19th century and are true to history in every detail, branching out to standalone westerns based on real characters with exciting action and extraordinary plots and supporting characters.
