Barbara Conrey is a talented author, best known for her work in the general fiction and historical fiction genres. Her debut novel, "Nowhere Near Goodbye," was published in 2020 and quickly gained recognition for its compelling storytelling.
Before becoming an author, Conrey spent many years working in the health care industry. After opting for early retirement, she tried her hand at finance, despite having no prior experience in the field. However, it was only after four years of working in finance that Conrey decided to pursue her true passion - writing. Interestingly, she chose not to write about finance, but instead focused on her love for travel, reading, writing, hiking, and exploring antique shops.
Conrey's passion for travel and her love for her rescue beagle, Miss Molly, have inspired her writing. She hopes to incorporate some of the stories she has experienced and heard about beagles into her books. Living in Pennsylvania, close to family and friends, Conrey continues to draw inspiration from her surroundings and the people she loves.
