Barry J. Hutchison is an accomplished author, writer of comics, and screenwriter, who has written over 100 books. Hailing from the Highlands of Scotland, Barry began his writing career creating novels for children and teenagers. His first series of novels for adults, titled 'Space Team', was launched in 2016. Since then, he has continued to write the 'Space Team' series, as well as 'Dan Deadman, Space Detective' and the 'Sidekicks' superhero series.
In addition to his work in books, Barry also writes for comics and animation. He has the unique distinction of being the only person to have written both the comic-book mini-series and a broadcast episode of 'Supermansion', an animated series starring Bryan Cranston and Chris Pine. Barry currently lives in the Highlands of Scotland with his wife, two children, and an irritatingly upbeat dog.
