Becky Clark is the seventh out of eight children, which has contributed to her developing poor table manners and an insatiable need for attention. She grew up with a love for reading humorous books, which led her to try her hand at writing in the same genre. Clark has a knack for surrounding herself with eccentric people and animals who often become characters in her books. Her stout-hearted dog bravely protects her from menacing squirrels, leaves, and deer, but not from plastic bags, which are a different kind of terrifying.
