Belle Calhoune is a successful author, best known for her heartwarming and inspirational romance novels. She was born in Quincy, Massachusetts, and grew up as one of five children. From a young age, Calhoune had a love for reading, particularly romance novels and mysteries, which she was able to cultivate thanks to the public library located across the street from her home.
Calhoune's passion for reading eventually turned into a desire to write her own romance novels. After marrying her college sweetheart, she went on to become the mother of two girls and settled in southern Connecticut. It was there that she began her writing career, focusing on creating small-town settings that were both cozy and inviting. Her novels provide readers with an escape from day-to-day life, while also offering inspiration and entertainment.
As a member of the RWA Honor Roll, Calhoune has written over 40 books, earning a spot as a Publisher's Weekly Best Selling Author. Her novel "An Alaskan Christmas" was even made into a television movie by Brain Power Studios, set to air on UPtv in October of 2019. Despite her success, Calhoune remains grounded and dedicated to her craft, finding joy in the simple things in life, such as spending time with friends and family, traveling, and reading.
