Benedict Brown is a British author who has always been passionate about writing. From his favorite half-an-hour a week during primary school to earning an MA in Creative Writing at university, Brown has consistently pursued his love for the written word. After university, he settled down in Burgos, Spain with his wife and children, where he now writes cozy mystery novels.
Brown is the author of the Izzy Palmer series and the Lord Edgington Investigates series. His writing journey began with children's books, including funny fairy tales, dystopic adventures, and serious issue-based young adult novels. However, he eventually switched to writing murder mysteries, which he has been doing for the past year. Brown's debut novel for adults, "A Corpse Called Bob," is the first book in the Izzy Palmer series.
Growing up in a crime fiction-loving family, Brown spent a long time dreaming up the idea for his detective Izzy Palmer's debut novel. He is a Welsh-Irish-Englishman who was born in South London but now resides in Burgos, Spain, with his French/Spanish wife and their daughter. Brown writes overlooking the Castilian countryside, trying not to be distracted by the vultures and red kites that fly past his window each day.
