Beth Cato

Beth Cato is a renowned author, known for her captivating series and engaging short stories. She has written the "Clockwork Dagger Duology" and the "Breath of Earth" series, both of which have been well-received by fans of fantasy. The "Clockwork Dagger" series, which includes both novels and short stories, combines elements of high fantasy, romance, steam punk, and adventure, making it a well-rounded and thrilling read.

Beth Cato was born in Hanford, California, and currently resides in a lair west of Phoenix, Arizona, where she writes and bakes delicious cookies. She is a Nebula Award-nominated author, with a number of notable works to her name, including "A Thousand Recipes for Revenge" from 47North and the "Clockwork Dagger" and "Blood of Earth" series from Harper Voyager. Her short stories have been published in a variety of publications, ranging from "Beneath Ceaseless Skies" to "Uncanny Magazine." In 2019 and 2022, she was awarded the Rhysling Award for speculative poetry.

Beth shares her home with her husband, son, and two feline overlords. In addition to her writing, she is also an avid baker and shares her culinary creations on her website, BethCato.com.
