Beth K. Vogt

Beth K. Vogt is a accomplished author and editor, who has had an interesting journey in her writing career. Initially, she never envisioned herself writing fiction novels, but she has now authored nine contemporary romance novels or novellas. Vogt also vowed never to marry a doctor or anyone in the military, but she is now married to an Air Force family physician who is in solo practice. Moreover, she never thought she would have children, yet she is a proud mother of four. Vogt's life experiences have taught her that God's best often awaits beyond the doors marked "Never."

As a fiction author, Vogt has received numerous accolades for her work. She is a 2016 Christy Award winner, a 2016 ACFW Carol Award winner, and a 2015 RITA® Finalist. Her 2014 novel, Somebody Like You, was one of Publisher’s Weekly’s Best Books of 2014. Vogt's writing is not limited to fiction, as she is also an experienced magazine writer and former editor of the leadership magazine for MOPS International. She enjoys writing contemporary romance because she believes there's more to happily-ever-after than the fairy tales tell us. Vogt is also part of the leadership team for My Book Therapy, the writing community founded by best-selling author Susan May Warren. She currently resides in Colorado with her husband and youngest daughter.
