Beth Merlin

Beth Merlin is a native New Yorker who has a deep love for Broadway, romantic comedies, and maxi dresses. She was introduced to her husband through a friend she met at sleepaway camp, and considers the eight summers she spent there to be the most formative of her life. According to Merlin, those eight months at the sleep away camp had a significant impact on her life.

Merlin's debut novel, "One S'more Summer," is a reflection of her love for sleepaway camps. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing from The George Washington University. Later, she went on to earn her juris doctor from New York Law School. However, her passion for writing led her to pursue a career as an author.

In her free time, Merlin enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and two cavapoos, Sophie and Scarlett. They can often be found at their favorite vacation spot, Kiawah Island, South Carolina. Merlin's love for writing is evident in her work, and her debut novel has been well-received by readers who appreciate her unique storytelling style. Her writing is influenced by her experiences and the people she has met, making her work relatable and engaging.
