Beverly Barton

Beverly Marie Inman, known by her pen name Beverly Barton, was an American novelist born on December 23, 1946, in Tuscumbia, Alabama. She was born to Walter D. Inman Jr. and Doris Marie. Barton's love for romantic stories began at a young age when her grandfather bought her an illustrated copy of The Beauty and the Beast. Even before she learned to read and write, she would create magical words and characters in her mind. Her fascination with movies led her to rewrite movie scripts as a child, giving them all happy endings.

Barton married Billy Ray Beaver, the love of her life, and had two children. She put her writing aspirations on hold to focus on her family but returned to writing in her mid-30s as a hobby. Before turning 40, she decided to make writing a full-time career. With her family's support, Barton went on to write over 40 books, receiving numerous awards and nominations, including making the USA Today list and consistently appearing on the Waldenbooks bestseller list.

Barton is best known for her series The Protectors, as well as the Griffin Powell series, the Cherokee Pointe trilogy, the 3 Babies for 3 Brothers trilogy, and many standalone novels. She was a prominent author in America, specializing in romance and romantic suspense novels. Sadly, Beverly Barton passed away due to heart failure in April 2011.

Although Barton's writing journey had its ups and downs, she persisted in her passion, ultimately becoming a New York Times bestselling author. Barton's love for reading and writing, nurtured from a young age, led her to create captivating stories that resonated with readers. Her legacy continues to inspire aspiring writers, emphasizing the importance of following one's dreams and passions.
