Bill Beverly

Bill Beverly is an accomplished American author, known for his crime fiction novels and non-fiction books. Born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Beverly developed an early interest in literature and writing. He attended Kalamazoo Central High School before going on to pursue his post-secondary education at Oberlin College. During his time at Oberlin, Beverly studied literature and writing, as well as theater and the Great Industrial Revolution.

After completing his undergraduate studies, Beverly continued to pursue his passion for American literature and writing by enrolling in the University of Florida's Ph.D. program in American literature. Today, he teaches American literature and writing at Trinity University in Washington D.C., where he shares his knowledge and passion for literature with his students.

Beverly's debut novel, "Dodgers," was published in April 2016, to critical acclaim. The novel, which tells the story of a young gang member who is sent on a road trip to witness a murder, showcases Beverly's ability to craft compelling characters and weave together intricate narratives. In addition to his work as a novelist, Beverly is also an accomplished non-fiction writer, having published a number of insightful and thought-provoking books on a variety of topics. He currently resides in Hyattsville, Maryland, with his wife, poet/writer Deborah Ager.
