Bob Blanton

Bob Blanton is a German-American author, best known for his Delphi in Space series. Blanton was born in Augsburg, Germany, as the son of a US soldier and a German national. When he was six months old, his father moved the family back to the United States. Due to his father's military career, Blanton's family moved frequently during his childhood, but they managed to stay in Colorado Springs, Colorado, for three years before his father retired.

Blanton has been an avid reader since his mother first took him to a library at the age of five. He toyed with writing for years after finishing college, but it was only after he retired that he was able to dedicate time to the craft. While working for Hewlett Packard Co. and traveling on long business trips, Blanton wrote books in his head. After retiring, he moved to Mexico, where he finally had the time to finish writing the books he started. He completed his first three books, known as the Stone Series, and has since been working on the Delphi in Space series.

Blanton hopes that readers will enjoy his series as much as he has enjoyed writing them. He is currently living on the ocean in Mexico, where the sound of the waves and sunsets over the water compete with his writing for his attention. In addition to the Delphi in Space series, readers can look forward to more books from Blanton as he continues to develop his newfound passion for writing.
