Born in 1960, Brett Duncan Arquette was given the pen name "Duncan" by his mother, award-winning author Lois Duncan. Raised in New Mexico and later moving to Florida, Arquette spent a significant portion of his career working as the Chief Technology Officer for one of the largest Circuit Court Systems in Florida. His expertise in advanced computer and audio/video systems is evident in his writing, with technology playing a key role in many of his books.
In 2002, Computerworld Magazine recognized Arquette as one of the "Premier 100 IT Leaders" in the world, highlighting his visionary approach to technology. He began writing on weekends, and in 2002, he published his first book, "Deadly Perversions." This marked the beginning of a successful writing career that has seen the publication of several additional titles, including "Seeing Red," "Tweaked," "The Pandemic Diary," "Soundman for a B-Band," "Hail Storm," and "Hail Warning" (Hail #2), with "Hail Strike" (Hail #3) and "Hail Damage" (Hail #4) due out in the last quarter of 2018. Mr. Arquette currently resides in the Sunshine State with his wife and three children, pursuing his dream of becoming a best-selling author like his mother.
