Brian Hodge

Brian Hodge is an accomplished author who has been praised by notable figures in the horror genre, such as Peter Straub, for his exceptional talent. He has been honored with the International Horror Guild Award for best short fiction and has been nominated for other awards. Hodge is primarily known for his work in horror and crime/noir, having written ten novels in these genres.

In addition to his novels, Hodge has written over 100 short stories, novelettes, and novellas, and four full-length collections. His first collection, The Convulsion Factory, has been ranked by critic Stanley Wiater as one of the 113 best books of modern horror. Hodge's most recent collection, Picking The Bones, was honored with a starred review from Publishers Weekly.
