Brian Lutterman

Brian Lutterman is an American author who hails from the Twin Cities in Minnesota. He grew up on a farm and later pursued a career in law before turning to writing. Lutterman is best known for creating the Pen Wilkinson series of books, which feature a sassy and whip-smart paraplegic attorney as the main character. The series has been well-received by critics, with the first book, Downfall, being praised as an exhilarating financial thriller by Mystery Gazette. The fourth book in the series, Nightfall, was named 2019 runner-up for Minnesota's best adult novel in the Minnesota Library Association's annual competition.

Before becoming an author, Lutterman worked as a trial lawyer and corporate attorney.
