Daniel Stashower

Daniel Stashower is an accomplished author, known for his Edgar Award-winning biography, "Teller of Tales: The Life of Arthur Conan Doyle." This work also received the Agatha Award for best critical/biographical work in 2000. Stashower's expertise in the field of detective and crime fiction writing has been recognized with the prestigious Raymond Chandler Fulbright Fellowship. His writing skills have taken him to Oxford, where he spent a year as a Visiting Fellow at Wadham College.

In addition to his biographical work on Conan Doyle, Stashower has written several mystery novels. His most recent novel is "The Houdini Specter." His journalistic skills have been honed over the years, and he has been a freelance journalist since 1986. His articles have been featured in esteemed publications such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, Smithsonian Magazine, National Geographic Traveller, and Connoisseur.
