David A. Wells

David A. Wells is an American author who is well-known for his fantasy book series, including "Sovereign of the Seven Isles," "Dragonfall," and "Primogenitor Conflict". He was born in LaGrande, Oregon, in 1969 and spent his childhood in Portland, Maine. From a young age, Wells had a passion for fantasy, inspired by the epic struggles and magical worlds he encountered in his reading.

After high school, Wells enlisted in the military before attending college. He then worked a series of jobs, primarily in warehouses and driving, which required long hours. Despite the demands of his work, Wells' passion for fantasy never waned. He decided to channel this passion into creating his own worlds, beginning with the "Seven Isles," a place of ancient magic and an even older evil.

With the "Sovereign of the Seven Isles" complete, Wells turned his attention to the "Dragonfall Trilogy," which is set on earth in 2178, seventy-five years after the event known as dragonfall. Throughout his writing, Wells has demonstrated a commitment to creating immersive and engaging fantasy worlds that captivate his readers.
