David Wellington is a successful American author, best known for his horror, fantasy, and thriller novels. He was born in 1971 and grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Wellington attended Syracuse University and later earned his MFA in creative writing from Penn State. He also holds a Master's degree in Library Science from Pratt Institute. Wellington currently resides in New York City with his wife and dog.
