Dea Poirier is an American author, born and raised in Edmond, Oklahoma. It was during one of her creative writing courses that she discovered her passion for writing. Poirier pursued her education at the University of Central Oklahoma, where she studied political science and computer science. After her graduation, she embarked on a journey across the United States, eventually settling in central Florida with her family, which includes her husband, son, two cats, and two dogs.
