Deb Kastner, a Publishers Weekly bestselling and award-winning author, has a passion for writing romantic comedies, contemporary romances, and cowboy romances set in small western towns. Kastner first discovered her love for Harlequin romance novels when she was just eleven years old, and has been captivated by the genre ever since.
Kastner's stories often feature small communities and incorporate animals as significant secondary characters. She currently resides in beautiful Colorado with her husband, two black tuxedo cats named Hype and Dab, and two adorable dogs, Gabby and Sadie. In what she refers to as her "midlife crisis," Kastner recently adopted a horse, a five-year-old Arabian gelding named Moscato, who joined the family.
In addition to her love for writing and animals, Kastner is also a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She is blessed with three adult daughters and three grandchildren, with a fourth on the way. Spoiling her grandchildren is one of her favorite hobbies, but she also enjoys reading, watching movies, listening to music, singing in the church choir, and exploring the Rocky Mountains on horseback. With over 50 novels and over two million books in print, Kastner's heartfelt stories and relatable characters have captivated readers for years.
